Racine County offers business and industry a reliable network of electrical power at affordable rates. Racine County receives electric service from We Energies, the lead supplier in all of Southeastern Wisconsin.

Racine County also receives gas service from We Energieswhich is Wisconsin's second largest natural gas utility. A strong distribution system delivers gas reliably to customers of all sizes throughout the County with a variety of delivery and supply options. We Energies will also help with the selection and purchase of natural gas vehicles and find fueling stations  for both over-the-road fleet vehicles and off-road vehicles like forklifts.

Water & Wastewater

Lake Michigan is the source of water for the majority of urban development in Racine County with one of the world's largest reservoirs of clean, fresh water at low rates.  Overall, there are 13 publicly owned water utilities in the county, as well as numerous small private water utilities serving isolated residential and institutional land uses.

Public sanitary sewerage systems serve the majority of the county population.
 


Communications

Racine County business and industry have access to one of the largest communications networks in the world. The County has fiber optic lines and service from the country’s top communications providers such as AT&T, TDS Metrocom, and Paetec Holding Corp.
