Grand Appliance moving HQ to Sturtevant
Grand Appliance and TV will move its headquarters from Zion, Ill., and consolidate two of its warehouses into a new 137,000-square-foot facility in Sturtevant.
The $8 million project is expected to result in 120 jobs relocated to Sturtevant and 22 new jobs created over three years, according to the Racine County Economic Development Corp.
“Southeast Wisconsin provides an ideal location that supports Grand Appliance and TV’s growth plans,” company President Mark Reckling said in a news release. “We are grateful to the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County, (Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.) and RCEDC for their combined efforts to support this project.”
The facility will reportedly be built in the Renaissance Business Park, at Renaissance Boulevard and Highway 20. The company has a store at 10400 Washington Ave.
